About the subject
A Hadith is a report of what the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, did or approved. Together with the Quran, the Hadith are a primary source of guidance for Muslims.
For centuries, scholars have compiled collections of forty Hadiths that bring together short, central teachings in a form that is easy to study and remember.
Studying a Hadith means more than reading its translation. It means understanding what the words mean, the situation in which they were said where this is known, and how the teaching applies today: in worship, in family life, in honesty and in how we treat others.
Because each Hadith is short, this kind of study suits children and adults alike and fits well alongside Quran lessons. One-to-one lessons in English or Urdu leave time for questions and for discussing how each teaching applies in your own life.
